Not sure if you have watched the introduction video for Google Wave yet, but its worth the entire 80 minutes! It took me three separate sittings to get through the whole of it, but I'm glad I did. There are countless
AWESOME features and capabilities we could talk about; instant live chat...character by character, spell/CONTEXT checker, discussion 'playback', file sharing...(drag and drop functionality like you've never seen before), document collaboration and editing...(like you have never seen before) and the list goes on.
However, what seems really exciting to me is the potential for this to become my SINGLE COMMUNICATION UI THAT I USE FOR ALL MY BLOGS, SOCIAL NETWORKING GROUPS, COLLABORATION TOOLS, ETC. How often do you hear people say, "I just don't have the time to invest in another tool. I am already spread too thin." It's true, you have to concentrate somewhere, or you simply waste too much time learning, moving between and acclimating to too many UI's. HOWEVER, this does not make those other tools any less valuable! Google Wave has the potential to become your single interface to all these tools. Staying true to the 'Google way', Google Wave is open source and already has a rich set of extension API's open to everyone. The video demonstrates integrations with blogs and Twitter. Go Developers!! Millions will thank you.
