What can't you do with an iPhone?!!

So if you are one of the very few people on my newly created Facebook acount, then you already know that I finally broke down and got an iPhone two days ago.

Honestly, part of me is hoping that you have better things to do than to check your Facebook page everyday...but then again, another part of me is hoping that, eventuallyinterested ECM candidates will be checking my Facebook profile rather than visiting Career Builder or Monster!...(a total waste of time where desperation, hope and luck are the operative motivators.)

So anyway, back to my new iPhone.  I just found out that there is a new app from a German company that allows me to use Skype on my iPhone!  And if I understand correctly, you can use your iTouch as well!  (I have 28 days left in the event I want to cancel the 2 year contract I just signed in order to get my iPhone for $199.00...I think...(probably should have read the fine print.)

So the 'net' of this is that I could have NO phone service, but still have an operational mobile phone!  Skype is $9.95 per month for international unlimited calls.  Can you imagine how happy my wife and kids would be if I bought them an iPhone and told them to do as much of anything that they wanted?!  Well, let me just say that it wouldn't hold a candle to how happy I would be spending $30 bucks a month vs. $150!!

OK, so before you go tell everyone I said this, understand that I am just starting to experiment.  I went to the following link on my iPhone  (  http://s4iphone.com/index_iphone.jsp  )  and saw that it pulled up the app on my iPhone with all my unique contacts.  I assume it works, but don't have time to fully test at this moment.  (If any of you have more time, feel free to reply with your results!  Thanks!)

...So what does this article have to do with ECM?  Frankly, I can't put my finger on it at the moment, but I am certian it's relevant somehow!  We'll make that the question of the day...What does making Skype calls from you iPhone have to do with ECM?
